Since 2010, Liaoning Petrochemical College has actively contacted and communicated with relevant colleges and universities abroad to expand its international horizons. The situation is basically as follows:

I.Signing of cooperation agreements and letters of intent with colleges and universities abroad:

1. In 2010, signed a memorandum of cooperation with TAFE College, Western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia;

2. In 2012, signed a cooperation agreement with the Shilla University of Korea;

3. In 2012, signed academic exchange agreements with the four colleges of Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences, Chaoyang University of Science and Technology, Mingxin University of Technology and Xiuping University of Science and Technology;

4. In 2016, signed academic exchange agreements with Taiwan Southeast University of Science and Technology, Huaxia University of Science and Technology, Zhili University of Science and Technology, Hechun Technical College, Liming Technical College;

5. In 2019, signed the Internet + Sino-Thai International Joint School Cooperation Agreement with the Vocational Education Center of Eastern Thailand, Madapura Technical College and Tangfeng Chinese International Education Group.

II.  Exchange of faculty and staff abroad (overseas):

1. In 2012, 25 teachers went to Xiuping University of Science and Technology in Taiwan for exchange study;

2. In 2012, 20 teachers went to Nanyang Institute of Technology in Singapore for exchange study;

3. In 2012, a three-person delegation from the college went to Silla University in South Korea to discuss and exchange and sign a cooperation agreement;

4. In 2013, one person from the college followed the delegation of the National Development and Reform Commission to Germany to study and exchange vocational education ideas;

5. In 2013, a 6-member delegation from the college went to New Zealand, Australia and Singapore to study and exchange;

6. In 2014, two people from the college followed the Ministry of Education team to study vocational education in the United States;

7. In 2017, three people from the college went to the United States to participate in the Rockwell Automation International Conference;

8. In 2018, 1 person from the college went to the UK for half a year as a visiting scholar;

9. In 2018, two people from the college participated in the Leadership Training Team for Vocational Colleges organized by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education;

10. In 2019, three people from the college went to the Eastern Vocational Education Center of Thailand and Madapura Institute of Technology to discuss and sign a cooperation agreement.

III. Exchange of college students abroad (overseas):

1. In 2012, 8 students of the college went to Xiuping University of Science and Technology for one semester;

2. In 2012, 20 students from the college went to Shilla University in South Korea to participate in a short-term summer cultural study tour.

IV. Situation of foreign visitors to the college (overseas):

1. In 2011, the college received 3 visitors from Taiwan’s Xiuping University of Science and Technology;

2. In 2012, the college received 2 visitors from Silla University, South Korea;

3. In 2013, the college received a visitor from Australian vocational education;

4. In 2014, the college received 3 visitors from Taiwan’s Xiuping University of Science and Technology;

5. In 2016, the college received 3 visitors from Liming University of Technology in Taiwan.

6. In 2019, the college received 18 visitors from the Vocational Education Center of Eastern Thailand.

V. Training of foreign students by the college:

1. In 2012, the college trained 20 foreign students from Liaoning University of Petroleum and Chemical Technology (two weeks);

2. In 2016, the college trained 20 foreign students from Liaoning University of Technology (two weeks);

3. In 2017, the college short-term trained 20 foreign students from Liaoning University of Technology (one week).

VI. Introduction of digital resources:

1. The school's petrochemical department has a set of data resources from Honeywell Corporation;

2. The College of Automation has a Rockwell training room in the United States, and the training device is equipped with nine sets of training resource libraries;

3. The College Automation Department is equipped with two sets of German Siemens Chinese and English plc software.
